John 13:15
I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
Prayer:
Jesus, these are big shoes to fill. You’ve shown us true love. We confess the pride, fear and selfishness in our hearts that keep us from loving others as You love us. We repent, we turn to You…help us to love.

This goes along with the quote and discussion from yesterday, but I thought it was too good not to share.
When we invite others into our homes and hearts, we learn that we are not alone. If we will but simply listen carefully to others, we will learn that we aren’t the only ones to struggle. We aren’t the only needy ones.
We need each other.
And that’s what hospitality SHOWS us and also AFFORDS us. When we invite others into our homes and hearts we are no longer alone.
Hospitality cures loneliness.
