Since the election is *finally* over we have finished our lapbook! We were waiting to see who our next president was going to be before finishing up. We learned alot with our Election unit study, if you look back at our unit plans you will see most of the links for where our lapbook stuff came from!

The back of the lapbook which has the map of all the states votes the night of the election. Would you believe Hannah – at 6 years old – was VERY into this process! (not that she understands it all…) but everytime a new state would be announced with its vote she would excitedly grab her red or blue colored pencil and color in the correct state! Earlier when we were writing in the number of electoral votes each state got she was very disappointed that California got 55 votes and Tennessee only got 11. (I agree with her, lol!)
