Look full in His wonderful face
and the things of earth will grow strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace.

beautiful, beautiful fall weather – real fall, finally! 🙂
seeing a few leaves start to change colors
an awesome hot air balloon show
feeding the geese
fun family time outdoors
a great dog show, lots of laughs!
our own new dog bringing lots of smiles and laughs to our home
funnel cakes
bbq pork sandwiches
fake tattoos that make this boy so happy
a football tattoo, of course
watching all the pretty balloons
watching them being blown up, the fire, the lights
feeling really great for the first time in awhile. here was my facebook status on Saturday: Lexapro 20mg works for me. 🙂 My house hasn’t been this clean since we moved in 7 years ago, I think. Seriously, I feel more like myself this week than I have in a long, long time. Like years. Thank you, God, for medication. (I know it’s not for everyone, but it has been a blessing for me!!)
remembering what it feels like to feel like myself. sounds strange, I know. but it’s good. 🙂
new family photos taken by a friend! love them!
3 children (and a husband) cooperating for family photos – along with the weather!!
a clean house. love it!
another fun family day
walking just down from our house to a little fall festival
taking our new dog with us, he loves going on walks!
running in to old friends, and new ones!
starting a new book, Sabbath: Finding Rest, Renewal, and Delight in Our Busy Lives with Bloom! Doesn’t that title sound so perfect??
ordering a new book, The Complete Writer: Writing with Ease: Instructor Text (The Complete Writer) to help us with writing in our homeschool. I ordered this after reading Elizabeth Foss’s 2 lines of approval on her daybook post. 🙂 Yes, I’m a fan of Elizabeth’s: I love her blog, I love her book on homeschooling, I love her Serendipity ideas…so I thought I might like this, too. 🙂 I’m reading it now and it’s very good, I hope to post more on it later!
perfect cool weather for a Sunday afternoon nap

This is my first visit to your blog. I loved your list this morning and I agree it is so wonderful to take time to be thankful!
I am so glad to hear you are feeling more yourself and how great to have a clean house! 🙂
It might be part Lexapro and part dog… dogs bring a lot of health and vitality to our lives I think.
You have a beautiful family.
Blessings,
Kara

Hi Candace,
I just received my Sabbath book as well this weekend and immediately started it. I am loving it so far. I think it will be a book I really enjoy.
I can’t wait to hear about what you think about the writing book in more depth. I went to amazon and put it on my wishlist.
