Forgive me for not posting last week, with my Praying the Psalms series starting I didn’t want to put up another post that day. So the blog has been a bit crazy with the Psalms series and everything else. 🙂
Last week’s reading and this coming week’s reading are some awesome passages.
There are so many wonderful passages in Isaiah that I cling to so very often.
“You will keep him in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast
because he trusts in you.”
This is one of those verses that I don’t think will ever be perfected in me here on earth…but I cling to the verse with such HOPE that when I do turn my mind, focus and thoughts to Him, He gives such precious peace. There are those moments of perfect peace…and give me such a longing for heaven, yes?
I hope you will take an extra few minutes and read Isaiah 58 – even if you aren’t reading through the Bible in 90 days…I have written before about how much this chapter has affected me. It is so powerful. It’s worth taking another look…and another and another. 🙂
Praying for you, dear friends.
Have a blessed week!
