I recently received this sweet picture book to review on my blog! I’m excited to share it with you, I really love it! I wish I had preschoolers in my home to share it with, but since I don’t, I “borrowed” my niece Sadie for this review! The book is called Jesus Shows Me.
This brand new book is a part of a series of board books written for little ones to introduce them to God! I would say that you could use these books with kids up to the age of 6 or 7yrs maybe! These books are written by Callie Grant and illustrated by Jodie Stowe and the series is called Knowing My God. The other books in this series are called Jesus Invites Me
Each page features a photograph of a different mama animal and her baby. There are simple words to read as well as a description of the animal scene on that page. I don’t know about you, but my children and I love books with baby animals in them!! These books are very sweet. I think use a very age appropriate way of introducing young children to God and His love for them. I love that they are board books – no torn pages after lots of love! 🙂
