I introduced my new design to you all last week. I’m very, very excited about it! Today I’m going to share more about the gals behind Crisp Apple Design and Consulting. {Their actual website is down as they are redesigning themselves! ha! As soon as they are back up, I will come back and link to their site.} They do have a media kit and/or price list available on one of their personal blogs, you can find that here.
Crisp Apple Design and Consulting is made up of Richele and Lindsey, my 2 new best friends. 🙂 ha! They were a joy to work with. I hope they would say the same about me, but I’m pretty picky. {grin}
I have gotten to know Richelle a little bit from various online groups we are in together. And just over the weekend I learned that Lindsey actually lives less than an hour from me! I had no idea the whole time she was working on my blog.
Richele started the process by asking about things I like. I will admit, at first I was a bit nervous because I wasn’t liking anything she sent. But Richele persisted…and finally she sent me some of the graphics from this new design and I immediately loved it. It was love at first sight. 🙂
After we settled on the colors and graphics you see now, Richele sent me various headers with these flowers and such. I loved the one you see now so much! It is perfect. She also offered to change it up just a bit and I could use that one as a Facebook header!! Yay! She also created a button and background to match. Each step of the way she continued asking me if I liked it, never assuming what I would or wouldn’t like.
Finally the time had come to install the design. Because WordPress is more technical and there is more involved, I was nervous about this part. But I had no reason to be!
When I woke up the next morning, my blog was magically brand new. 🙂 They waited for me to see it before unveiling it. They wanted to make sure I loved it. So, they put up a pretty little page saying something to the effect of His Mercy is New is getting a new design! We will be back up shortly!
Lindsey worked her magic and my blog was like brand new. The next day, Richele and I chatted on Facebook about certain aspects of the blog and they assured me that that would not be finished until I was pleased and loved my new design.
There was not one single aspect of this process that I would not highly recommend. Richele never made me feel badly about not liking certain choices she sent me. She was so great to work with and I would highly recommend them! I love the flowers on my new design, I love the colors, I love it all! 🙂
Just out of the goodness of her heart, Richele also helped me to create a business card for my upcoming Allume trip!! Â I can’t wait to receive them in the mail.
If you want to give your blog a makeover or need any services for your blog, I highly recommend Crisp Apple Design. I think if you are going to continue blogging, it is very important that you LOVE your little spot on the web, and I’m glad that Richele and Lindsey feel the same way.
