“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:3-5
Friends, we have a LIVING HOPE. Our HOPE is ALIVE. Don’t we need that reminder now more than ever?? I know I do!
Let’s read 1 Peter in October together!
1 Peter Reading Plan
- Intro October 1-3
- Week 1: Chapter 1 (Oct. 4-10)
- Week 2: Chapter 2 (Oct. 11-17)
- Week 3: Chapter 3 (Oct. 18-24)
- Week 4: Chapter 4, 5 (Oct. 25-31)
I did not do a DAILY portion for you to read because it was hard in places to break up the sections. However, if you enjoy seeing just 1-2 verses at a time, click over to my Facebook page where each morning just a few verses will be shared!
Join me on Instagram (or my personal Facebook stories, the little boxes on FB or circles on IG at the TOP of your feed are the “stories”) each morning as I chat for just 1-2 minutes about the daily reading portion. You do NOT need to friend me, my stories are public, you can just go watch if you happen to not be on Instagram! (FB won’t let me share to my blog FB page stories also.)
If you want a study to dig deeper with…
This is a Bible study on 1 Peter that I found at the Daily Grace Co. You do NOT need this study to read along with me in October. But if you WANT to dig deeper, I really like the study!
If you want to buy the study but won’t have it in time for October 1st when we start, when you buy this study from Daily Grace you can get it FREE on their app (app is free too.) So you can still begin the study with us by reading each day’s portion on the app if you wish! You receive an email after purchase with the app instructions from Daily Grace.
I am so excited to dig in to 1 Peter in October for such a time as this, friends! Let’s remind each other of the HOPE we have in Christ alone!
