Oh wow...we have covered SO much in just 4 weeks! We have finished week 4 and are beginning our 5th week of reading!! We read so many wonderful parts of God's Word this week. Ruth and Naomi...and Boaz. Samuel anointing David and the reminder that God looks at the heart and not the outward appearance! King David's heart for God, despite great moral failures. We are starting our 4th week!! Woo-hoo!! I enjoy a lot of Deuteronomy. This week's reading had us in Leviticus. This is one of the harder books for me to read each time. But, this time, the Lord was gracious...and He reminded me several times of the look we get at JESUS even in the Old Testament! I love it when words, passages, stories point us to Jesus long before He was ever born!! "If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to offer a male without defect." Favorite verse from this past week... "...and Noah walked with God." Genesis 6:9 wow. This made me ponder what walking with God looks like. Would others look at my life and know that I walk with God? I want my life to be a reflection of my walking with Him. Lord, may they say the same of me! We did it! We finished a week of the Bible in 90 days!!
