A long week…but it’s good for me to look back over a hard week and find things to be thankful for. 🙂 It does my heart good…to remember, to acknowledge, to praise.
a fun night out with a friend
a few good school days with the kids
catching up on my Beth Moore study, I am loving the new study on Revelation!! (this is a lecture driven series, so the dvd’s are a must if you are interested in this one. It has been nice to only have a *little* homework each week!!)
pulling out our favorite fall books to read together
making edible cells together with friends (you’d never guess we’re homeschoolers! ha!)
hearing my kids sing worship songs around the house
a nice, comfy and warm bed
reciting Scripture with my kids
learning with my kids
being reminded once again that this homeschooling adventure is just as much a learning experience for me as it is my kids. maybe more so. God has sooooo much work to do in me!!
reading about the Compassion bloggers in Guatemala…through tears, yet with prayer and hope I am thankful.
being a part of the Hearts of Christ Empty Bowl Luncheon!! I just love the hearts of those who continue to give and give and give. A heart just like His. (and I waited my first tables ever!! ha! It was really fun!!)
a new playground to enjoy
a bench to sit on and a book to read, bliss.
watching my children make new friends
gifts 1001 ~ 1019
Have a great week, friends! We have much to be thankful for, don’t we?
