"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105 From the very start of our homeschooling journey, I have been burdened, more than with any other subject, to get The Word into and onto my kids hearts. I almost can't explain why this has been so important to me...other than to say that God's Word has been a lifeline for me in very difficult times ~ and joyous times ~ and I pray, with each passage we memorize, that in the future, in their time of need, my children will ... I Thank My God {Philippians}
The first few verses of Philippians tell us that Paul is the author and he is writing to the church at Philippi. We see from several verses (1:13-14) that Paul was in prison when he wrote this book. By the end of November, we have a full tree!! I love this idea...but lately, I have been talking with my kids more and more about being thankful at times other than November. I think that doing this ... Read More about Beginning of November Thankfulness
Christopher Columbus Unit Study

Since this opportunity came our way, I thought we should take advantage of it and learn all about Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America! I'm embarrassed to admit that my kids know nothing about Columbus!! I guess this year we will change that. :) Books Columbus Christopher Columbus (Step-Into-Reading, Step 3) Animals Christopher Columbus Saw: An Adventure in the New World (Explorers) Story ...
