As a part of our Chicken Unit study, we did a few experiments with eggs! We had so much fun with these science experiments! The egg drop was one of our favorites. 🙂
We did these experiments during our weekly co-op time with 2 other families because I figure the more the merrier.
I had each child bring something to drop the egg in or on. Before we dropped our eggs, we made predictions about which eggs would break and which wouldn’t. We had items brought in such as pillows, rags, shoeboxes, cups, etc.
We had some surprises! A few of the ones that we predicted wouldn’t break, ended up breaking! And vice versa. 🙂 This was great fun and the kids loved DROPPING the eggs!

Looks like the kids had an amazing time! The egg drop was by far one of my favorite project from grade school. Brings back great memories 🙂
