I’m delighted to share with you the brand new ebook from my friend, Sarah, at Amongst Lovely Things! Friends, I do not exaggerate whenI say you are going to LOVE this book. I might even go so far as to say that you need this book. I can speak from experience when I say that I needed it.

I don’t say this lightly, but I feel this book is a “must read…” for every homeschool mom. Sarah beautifully writes from a state of humility, openly sharing that she isn’t writing as an expert but as one who needs this message as much as the next mom. Sarah shares Scriptural truths that every mom needs to hear time and time again. If you, like me, find yourself anxious and overwhelmed, this book if for you. And it will be for you next week and next month and next year when you need it again. One of my favorite portions of this book is when Sarah reminds us that our daily grind is holy work. Oh, how I need that reminder. So thankful for this book and I know you will be too! Oh, and it’s so *pretty* as well! I love a pretty book…all the colors, the fonts, the pictures included and the companion journal…it’s all gorgeous!
You may remember that I shared a series that Sarah was writing on her blog over the past few months. This series was called Teaching from a State of Rest. She wrote 12 amazing posts on how we can homeschool with peace and joy in our homes. These posts have encouraged my heart and I know they will bless you, too.
But, because there was so.much.more that Sarah wanted to share with us, she decided to turn her series into an ebook! And, friends, there are EXTRAS that make this ebook so worth it!!
You can also purchase a companion journal that you can print off {which is BEAUTIFUL, I got a little glimpse of it last week!!} and also nearly FOUR hours of AUDIO from 4 different homeschooling inspirational speakers.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway!! I think this book and the extras look awesome. I need this book because doing anything, especially teaching, from a state of rest is a new (but needed!) concept for me. I tend to operate from a state of stress or anxiety most days.

I have homeschooled for many years but this year I am adding in a needy mother in law who needs a fair amount of care and I am stressing a bit about balancing that with homeschooling my children. The bit I have read of the samples tells me I think I need this book to help me deal with the big changes on the horizon.

Sharing this on my FB page and pinterest and twitter. I’ve been homeschooling for 18 years and can attest to the need for a heart that is at rest. To me, rest equals peace.

I could always use more advice in seeking God’s peace.

I am embarking on homeschooling for the first time this year. I am very excited but also know that I am someone with urealistic expectations of myself and have great plans that may not be able to be achieved. Peace with what I can achieve instead of what I want to achieve is something I really need!
