The peace we gain through prayer {Philippians 4:6-7} is blessing enough, but in praying the very Words of God over your family, the blessings gained are more than we will ever know about on this side of heaven!

Today’s Scripture To Pray For Your Family

Philippians 1:3-6, 9: “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day unit now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense til the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”

Prayer: God, may the prayers and cries of my heart be GRATITUDE every time I think of my family. Every time I remember the blessings You have placed in my life, I thank You. God, I ask you to help me, as a mom, to speak words of truth and hope to my children, that they would know You have started a good work in their lives and that they would trust You to complete it. On the days when I need that reminder myself, I ask you to bring to mind that truth. I ask you to make the love of my family toward each other and toward the world be abounding love, growing daily; that they would grow more and more in knowledge and discernment, that they would be drawn to what is excellent and be filled with the fruits of righteousness. All glory and praise to You alone!
