Today’s Scripture To Pray For Your Family
Colossians 1:9-12: “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long-suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”
Prayer: Oh Father, this passage is the cry of my heart. I do not cease praying for my loved ones, asking You to fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that they will walk worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy, that each of us may give thanks to You, Lord, who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

Praying scripture is such a wonderful way to change our hearts and attitudes as well as set our focus entirely on Christ. I love the book of Colossians. I memorized the third chapter last year and God did so much in my life through it. Thank you for the encouragement today!
