As we approach another new year, many of us are pondering goals and purposes for the new year. As we think about where we want to go in this new year, I know that for me, PRAYER and SCRIPTURE are 2 things I always want more of. Give me Jesus!!
When we think about goals for our lives and look at the possibility of God doing something NEW in our lives, sometimes I can get discouraged. I see the same old patterns, the same sin issues, the same weaknesses that often seem to plague my life. Can God really do something new in me?
I believe that God’s Word tells us that He has ALREADY done something new in each of us, if we are His. We are a NEW creation, friends! There is no need to cling to the lies of the enemy that tell us we are worthless and not capable of change. We know the Lord is doing a work in our lives, after all we are His. He who began a new work in each of us will carry it on to completion!! Philippians 1:6 gives us this truth. Cling to it, dear ones!
Praying the Scriptures in January
I have put together these verses for us to meditate on and pray through the month of January. My hope and prayer is that each of us will be filled with peace and joy and contentment with who we are in Christ.

Wow. We are in 2018, and God told me this for this new year. This is on point for me. Do you have a new creation challenge such as praying for your children challenge
