Verse to Pray for Our Home
Romans 15:1
“Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” (I love how The Message relays this point to us.)
Prayer:
God, I don’t consider myself strong — but in Your strength, my weakness is made strong. Help me today to look around me and say, “how can I help?” And help me to mean it.

I would LOVE to hear from you in the comments! How are you liking the book? What struck you the most??
“Find a hospitable person and spend time with them. Listen to them. Do not look for methods or tips from them. Just be together and you will be astonished at what happens.” Radical Hospitality, p. 173.
Who comes to mind when you think HOSPITABLE? Someone who is loving toward all? Someone whose home has a revolving door? Someone who decorates well?
I enjoy decorating, but I don’t really want to be known for having a beautiful home…I’d rather be known for having open doors to my home and for good conversations on the couch.
Do you know of someone who truly loves the less fortunate? Who lives their life seeking to be a HELP and to show LOVE to those who need it most?
How can you look around you this week and say, “How can I help you?” or “How can I show this person love?”
