I really love decorating, setting a pretty table, changing flowers and ribbons for the seasons…but I usually don’t do a whole lot because it just costs so much to re-do things and buy new things! Buuuuuuut…I did a few things this week that didn’t cost me a whole lot and I just had to tell you about the sales I found! If you are redecorating and need a few things for your walls, you should head to Kohl’s. Most of their wall decor is 60% off. I got several things for less than $10, and there were actually quite a few things there in that price range once you take off the discount! (no, I do not work for Kohl’s, but was just super excited at the stuff I found! LOL!)
So, here are a few pictures for ya…
This is a picture of above our bed in the master bedroom. It’s hard to tell color in these pictures, but these walls are a very pale blue. I love these pieces!! The middle one is like a stencil type thing, so the blue shows through! Oh and it is some type of metal. (how is that for specific?) The 2 sconces (?) on the sides were $8 each at Kohl’s.
These are hanging in the kitchen, but I don’t love these in this spot so they may be moving. But I love the little pictures! I actually got these on clearance at the Bible Bookstore probably a year ago or more…and they’ve just been sitting in my closet waiting for the perfect spot…so I’m trying to find it. Each one of these has a different Bible verse on it.
And, in our very freshly painted hallway (that was our weekend project) I found these words on clearance at Kohl’s too!! Have ya’ll gotten into the wall words yet? LOVE ‘EM!! And this set was $13, I thought that was a great deal, tell me if it wasn’t though so I won’t go back and buy more. I included part of the bathroom door in the picture so that you could see kind of how big it is.
And now, my favorite wall in the house, at the moment anyway. This wall is our dining room wall behind the dining room table. Our kitchen and dining area is just one big open room. These are our new family pictures that we got taken for the church directory. I was SO pleased with how they turned out! (Speaking of which, Peggy if you are reading this, I had pictures set aside to give you and forgot the other day while you were here!!)
The little black shadow type boxes have been under my bed for who knows how long. I just didn’t know what to do with them…but voila, they look great here, I think!
So, how did you like the tour of walls in my home!? LOL! I’m just so excited with a few little changes we made…I had to share!
