I have another book recommendation for your Winter or Snow unit study! I found this book at an after-Christmas sale at the christian book store. It is called The Tiny Snowflake by Art Ginolfi.
This book is about a tiny snowflake falling from the sky, who sees lots of beautiful snowflakes around her and wonders what makes her special. She doesn’t see anything unique or special about herself and begins wondering how it is that “every snowflake is unique and special.” Not only does the tiny snowflake see the uniqueness of the snowflakes around her, but by the end of the book she realizes what makes her special AND what her unique purpose is!
This book was a great lead-in for me to share with my children that they are so special, which obviously I have told them many times, but also that God has a special and unique purpose for their life.
We love this book too!
