We are continuing on with our Rainforest unit study…I wanted to share one fun idea that we did last week.
We had a rainforest taste test! I picked up as many foods as I could that are found in the rainforest and we tasted them! I printed off a quick excel chart and the girls checked off whether they liked or disliked each food! We smelled and took a quick swipe with our finger of most of the spices.
We tasted:
*mango
*pineapple
*grapefruit
*orange
*lemon
*lime
*banana
*chocolate
*cinnamon
*ginger
*cloves
*nutmeg
*vanilla
*tea
After our taste test, David opened up a coconut and we tasted the milk and the meat from the center for the first time!
