Since we are becoming quite the world travelers this year, what better way to have school in the month of December than to learn about Christmas around the world? There are sooooooo many resources for this!! I’m still even having trouble picking and choosing what we will focus on…but here are the main resources that I am using.
Books for All Countries (overview)
We will read a portion from one of these books each day.
Homeschool Share has a free, HUGE, Christmas Around the World unit study AND lapbook!I am going to be attempting to “tie together” some of the countries around the world with the Christmas Carol that comes from that country. We are NOT attempting to learn about alllll of these many countries covered in these unit studies.
I saw this really neat video on Julie’s blog and had to order it for our advent learning time! This video will go perfectly with looking at the different Christmas carols from around the world!
