If you want to read a book that will make you weep and change your perspective forever…I highly recommend Scared by Tom Davis. But, if you aren’t interested in hearing about the atrocities that are happening to little girls and boys around the world and having your heart broken into a million pieces…this isn’t the book for you. This book was hard to read…but in the end, for me, it changed my thinking and my view of the world. Of course it also made me want to sell my house and move to Africa. But, for now, I weep with those that weep and pray…pray that God will use me to do my small part, to change my heart and to do with me what will help others and bring glory to His name.
Tom Davis also wrote Red Letters (this video tells about this book) which I read a few years ago. Also excellent.
