In our Around the World studies, we are headed to China next! There is just SO MUCH to cover with China! We have covered China in the past with various unit studies, like the Olympic unit back in the summer of 2008, as well as various other studies.
This time around there are a few things I want to make sure that we cover, that we haven’t covered in the past. The Great Wall, Chinese New Year, and ancient China are a few of those new topics. I’d also like to review some geography of the country, point out important spots and look at the Yangtze river again.
Of course, there is a classic Five in a Row title that takes place in China — PING!! I really want to do Ping up really big, because this will likely be our last “rowing” of Ping. sniff sniff…and this time, Caleb will get to participate!! 🙂
