I finished reading the Old Testament last night!! OH MY GOODNESS!! For the first time in my life…I finished the entire OT!
Sorry, I don’t mean to brag…but I’m truly bragging on God here. It is all Him. I have never been able to do it before…but, with the help of the 90 Day Bible Reading Plan and some motivation from the Lord, He has helped me to get this far in the plan!
I’m just so excited! God has shown me a lot, opened my eyes to a lot and taught me a lot. I have underlined completely new passages in my Bible…and even have a few new favorites. 🙂 There are a lot of people that recommend reading through the entire Bible on a regular basis…I can definitely see how helpful and good for me this would be. (not to mention, an hour or more each day in the Word is certainly better than whatever I was doing with that time before, right?)
To be closer to God, I need to be IN THE WORD.
To look a little more like Him, I need to be IN THE WORD.
To look a little less like me, I need to be IN THE WORD.
To hear from Him, I need to be IN THE WORD.
To gain His wisdom, that I so desperately need, I have to be IN THE WORD.

Congrats! The New testament will be so refreshing after that. No offense to the Old testament. 🙂 Be proud of yourself! You are in the home stretch now.
