If you’ve read my blog for long you know that I am a huge fan of Angie Smith from Bring the Rain. So, when her new book came out, I quickly put it on my “wish list” and planned to purchase it as soon as I got my next amazon gift card.
However, last night, I saw over at Ann’s blog that Barnes and Noble has a FREE copy of the e-book that you can download!! How awesome is that? (this is probably not going to last long, so you might want to go ahead and download today!)
So, last night, when I couldn’t sleep at 2am, I started reading…and kept reading…and am about halfway through the book. It is just so good.
You may already know the story of sweet baby Audrey Caroline, and how while she was in the womb, doctors told Angie and Todd that she was not “compatible with life.” Angie and Todd decided to carry baby Audrey as long as God would allow…and through Angie’s blog and their testimony to the world, baby Audrey has made a huge impact on people around the world. If you are not familiar with this beautiful story, you can start reading about Audrey here.
Finally, if you or someone you know has lost a child, I think this would also be a wonderful encouragement to you or your friend. I know that is what Angie wants from this book, for God to use Audrey’s life and story to encourage others who are struggling.
ETA: I did want to mention 2 things that I have realized after originally posting this:
1. Yes, you do need a credit card to enter for this e-book, however you are NOT charged anything, not even for shipping!
2. The further I get into this book the more I realize it is NOT just for those who have lost a child. This book is for anyone who has struggled, anyone who has suffered a loss of any kind, anyone who has walked through the valley…whatever your valley may be. There is encouragement for each of us in this book! I highly recommend it. 🙂

Darn, it won’t let me download the free ebook without inputting credit card info and I don’t have one.
