I have been feeling prompted to look at one book of the Bible a little more in depth, and I’ve finally decided to go for it! I thought I would post my reading and what God is teaching me here on the blog to keep me accountable to getting through the book this month! 🙂
I would love for you to join me! My plan is to post from the book of Philippians through the month of November! Now, this little book is only 4 chapters long, but it is CHOCK FULL of good stuff! So, I won’t be posting a chapter a day or anything, just one or a few verses at a time…
If you would like to join in, please read along in Philippians and post any comments you have to share in the comments section below. If, as we are going along, any of you would like to post on Philippians on your blog, we can do a Mr. Linky as well. 🙂 Fun.
Philippians is the perfect book to read and dig into for November. A month of thankfulness. A month where we focus on gratitude.
How can we possibly study gratitude in the Bible without looking at Paul? I mean, Paul wrote Philippians from JAIL. And he wrote about rejoicing in the Lord ALWAYS. Sheesh!! He wrote about being content in any circumstances. Yikes.
I could learn a lot from Paul. 🙂 What about you??

I’m in. Being thankful this year has been a really great thing for me. Not that I wasn’t thankful before but actually noticing the small stuff in life, instead of just “I’m thankful for my kids, my home, my freedom…” but being thankful for the sound of birds through the window while I’m doing my morning devotions is so much sweeter.

I’ll join you all. 🙂
