Have you heard of Project Life? I believe I first heard of this from Jessica Turner’s blog, The Mom Creative. (here are all of Jessica’s Project Life posts.)When I first saw this (nearly a year ago) I knew I wanted it…but I didn’t purchase it because I think it was just after the new year and I like to start things when they are supposed to be started. I’m weird like that. 🙂
Project Life is a scrapbooking kit that is very different from how I have scrapbooked in the past. Look at the Project Life site and you can see pictures of the product if you are interested in checking it out. 🙂
So, now that we are approaching January 1st, and there is a NEW Project Life Kit out…I am planning to start!! I’m SO excited about this scrapbooking project!! I have scrapbooked for years…in a fairly simple format, and I LOVE it, but this is different, it won’t be as time consuming and I do believe this first book will be MINE to keep!! ha!! The scrapbooks I make for each of my children, I know someday I will pass on to them…it will be a gift to them. But, this Project Life book will be for me. At least that is my plan now. 🙂

So, I’m going to join Jessica’s blog each week and *try* to post my Project Life pictures…I figure as much as I love posting pictures, this will help keep me going and accountable with keeping my pictures up to date.
This year there are 2 options, the Amber and the Turquoise. I am planning to get the Amber. 🙂

I love this! I used to scrapbook all the time and I really miss it. I just bought it! 😉
This is so funny you would mention it. I love visiting Jessica’s blog and I found out about Project Life through her. I have been thinking about trying P.L. for some time now but haven’t taken the plunge. I haven’t scrapbooked for a long, long time and I hate it… I take gobs of photos but no one is really enjoying them. So I am still thinking about getting this kit to make things a little easier on me.

I’ve heard of this last year but didn’t buy it. I may have to get it this year though. I used to be a very avid scrapbooker but I have not done much at all in the last year. I really like the looks of this. A LOT.
We were just talking about this on my online scrapbooking group. I am thinking of joining in this year. I like the idea of preserving the everyday moments.

Not sure if you’ll see this comment or not… but I was wondering what helped you decide between the amber and the turquoise? I have decided I am going to do this, and originally I planned on getting the amber edition but now am rethinking it. I have 2 boys so I’m wondering if it will be too feminine? What are your thoughts?
