It is finally here!! Day 1 of the Bible in 90 Days Challenge!! Yay!!
Are you ready? Are you excited? Nervous? Have you already read your passage for today or are you just getting your day started?
Either way – I am praying for YOU!! I am praying that God would give you precious time, discipline, a heart for Him, desire, and that He would pour out His grace over each of you spending this extra time in His Word for the next 90 days!
Day 1 Passage: Genesis 1:1 – Genesis 16:16
When I start reading, each day, I ask God to point out to me a word, a phrase, something, anything He is trying to show me.
On this first day of reading, the word He emphasized to me was empty.
Did you catch that word in the passage? Your version may have used a different word, but the meaning is the same. Our world was empty before God began creating.
God used the creation story to remind me of how empty my life was without Him. How empty my life is when I choose my own ways instead of His. Empty.
But, look HOW MUCH God filled up our world!! And look at the BEAUTY!! Our lives don’t have to be empty!! Our lives can be SO FULL of SO MUCH when we allow God to enter in…
God made something out of nothing. He took a world that was empty and turned it into a world completely full of wonder. For you and me. For His glory.
Happy Reading, friends!! Please do check in and let us know how your first few days are going!! I won’t be posting everyday, but Amy generally posts most days through the Bible in 90 Days challenge!!
