Take 32
Ok, ya’ll. This is a big step for me today. I did not want to make a video of myself reciting Psalm 91, but I did. And today, I will share it! 🙂
With Mega Memory Month on Ann Kroeker’s blog, she suggested that we find a way to share our memory work at the end of the month. I did not want to do a video, I had other grand ideas…but alas, here I am.
So, at the end I get a little nervous and start looking at my card with every line of the scripture, but I really do know this passage! ha! It’s just that I had already started recording about 31 other “takes” and this was the first time I had gotten this close to the end! And…it took so long to upload to my ooold computer, I didn’t want to try again! So, it is what it is. (and don’t you just love the lovely face the video stopped on??)

So, as much as I love you all, don’t be expecting many more videos!! 🙂
I want to hear from you…what Scripture are you working on memorizing right now? Or is there a new verse that you are starting??

Great job, Candace!!! Even though you were looking, I could tell you knew it! I’m so happy you shared it via a video!
I’ve been working on memorizing the same scriptures I’m assigning to Sebastian. I, sadly, don’t have a lot of scripture memorized. So it’s been good for both of us to start with some basics!

WOW, Candace. You did a GREAT job, and brave too! I’m still in only memorizing the verses right now. Maybe one of these day’s I get to a whole chapter.
Also, I would have thought you’d have a more Tennessean voice. I sounded so soft compared to my friends in Elizabethton,

Great Job! You have challenged me!

Candace- I love hearing your voice! You did an awesome job! I was surprised to hear that there are lots of similarities between Psalms 91 and Psalms 27 (the one I am memorizing).

Thank you, Candace! I felt the Lord speaking to me through yourwords. He will rescue me! – what an encouragement. And if you would know my situation, this would really be an amazing promise. THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR BEING FAITHFUL!!! May the Lord Jesus bless you and make you even more a shining star for His glory.
Love and hugs,
Sara

Good Job!! It is nice to hear your voice. 🙂

Fantastic, Candace! Your committed heart comes through in this sweet plea for people to join you in the prayerful process of memorizing God’s Word and speaking it back to Him.
Thank you for sharing this via video! I think you’re right: it shows a real woman (beautiful, too, with a soothing voice) doing something extraordinary (“mega”!) in the most ordinary setting. You inspire people that they don’t have to be a super-spiritual hero to take this on.
I’m so glad to have shared this memory month with you, and celebrate your success!

That was amazing. You said that so clearly and so well – I am trying to learn Colossians but I can’t do it at all with the flow that you have done.
Congratulations.
Blessings,
Jan
