It has been a rather slow week around our house…lots of sickness that doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon! But, even amidst the coughs and fevers and restless nights, I can still find so many reasons to praise.
We were made to praise…
sun shining brightly in our windows
walks in the sunshiney cold
tylenol
precious sleep
beloved pets to keep us company
finishing The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with the kids
Hannah begging for another chapter
watching Narnia (LWW) with the family – soooo good!!
movies and blankets piled on couches
lots of good mail days 🙂
new books
starting to make plans for the next school year, which starts in June for us!!
signs that maybe spring is on the way!
lots of birds at our feeders
making valentine cards with the kids
buying goodies to make and take for this idea: someone to love (I suppose it will have to wait til after Valentine’s Day for us…but I still love this idea and hope we can go on our own love outing soon!!)
a Psalm or two a day…perfect!
watching my children enjoy swinging in the backyard…simple pleasures!

First – Oh how the “plague” has run through everyone’s house these last weeks. Blech. – and those hearts on the board – awesome!
And my fave from your list? lots of birds at our feeders (The feeding of birds always reminds me of “Not a sparrow falls from the sky without You knowing – not a grain of sand washes out to sea – if that be true – I can’t imagine how much we must mean to YOU – thank you for that)
