After posting this (my disappointment in BlogHer after the Susan Komen & Planned Parenthood saga) I received a very gracious, personal email from one of the managers at BlogHer. She also shared a few links from around BlogHer that were sharing the opposing viewpoint that I had missed in my previous searches.
I told this sweet manager that I would reconsider leaving BlogHer. And here is why…
I have prayed about this blog ever since I started it. Yes, I have. I want my blog to be a ministry. I want my blog to point others to God.
If there is one small chance that I could somehow be a light to anyone clicking around on BlogHer, I want to do that. Honestly, that is my heart…
Kate Wicker and I emailed back and forth about this very topic. If all of the Christians leave BlogHer, what does that say? Where does that leave our Christian, pro-life, or any other Godly perspective on the issues of today?
I don’t have all the answers…but I wanted to share this change of heart and the response that BlogHer graciously gave me. I wanted to share my heart…I’m still praying about this decision, but overall, for today I feel peace regarding this.
