monday morning praise

As I ponder the funeral service for the 2 boys in our community that was last night, I find it hard to be thankful. But, I know the joy is there. I’m feeling the heartbreak of those families who have lost their precious children. But, there is HOPE in Jesus and knowing those families will be reunited someday in heaven! I can’t imagine grieving without that hope and without Jesus by my side. I’m so thankful these 2 families have that.

this devotional – I am constantly amazing (not sure why?) that God continues to speak to me day in and day out with this book!! I love it and each morning I hear from God and start my day with a little nugget from my Jesus and some words of encouragement.

encouraging talks over coffee and books with 2 friends

walks with my hubby…even in the 90 degree heat at 9pm!! I am loving this little routine we are getting into, it gives us a few minutes to talk uninterrupted!

knowing, believing and holding on to the fact that this world is NOT our home!!
