So, I know I’m a little behind the times, but I have recently added a plate wall to our dining area and I absolutely love.it!!! The absolute best part!?!? I got all the plates at 3 different thrift stores and spent less than $15 on a whole new look for my kitchen and dining area!! Woo-hoo!! I also plan to still pick up a plate here and there to add to this wall. A work in progress if you will. {And, I really want a big farm house style dining table next…anyone seen anything like that at the thrift store?? ha! }
I wanted to share a little plate-wall-love with you…do you love these walls as much as I do??
I’m pretty sure one of the first crushes I had on a plate wall was from Nester’s place. This wall here is what first drew me in…love the randomness. I’m usually such a symmetrical person. But I’ve tried to go out of the box with my plate wall because I love this one so much!!
I didn’t notice this til I started putting together this post, but all the plate walls I love are on a GRAY/BLUISH wall…and I went with a gray in my dining area and kitchen. So funny!! I love that look with the white on gray.
Oh – and these are the new fangled plate hangers I found halfway through my plate wall process! 🙂 I love them!!
What do you think? I know it’s not everyone’s style…and that’s ok with me. But I am loving my new kitchen and plate wall!!

Hey Candace! I love the plate wall! I have one in my dining room too! I also really love the color that you picked out for your dining room. We are getting ready to paint our living room a shade of gray.

Adrienne, I remember seeing your plate wall on your blog! 🙂 I love them!! I had a VERY hard time finding a color – some looked blue, some looked purple, some looked tan…ugh! But, I’m really happy with how it turned out. finally. ha!
