Today we are blessed to have our 3rd post in the Real Life Homeschooling series. This post and picture is shared by Dianna, a homeschool mom to 3 girls, who you can find blogging at Aspiring To Be…
Guest Posters wanted: the response to this post has been so great. ya’ll are great. 🙂 SO, I’m going to open up this series for GUEST POSTERS!! If you are a homeschooler and want to contribute your own “real like homeschooling” post, please email me with your post! I would like to have a picture to go with it. And if you have a blog, I will link back to you! 🙂 If you want to “grab” the picture in the top of this post, I will let you know when your post will go live and you can use this graphic as a teaser and point people here to read! I really think these will be encouraging to all of us as homeschooling mamas! I hope to share one post per week on this series!!

Candace,
I love the idea of this series! I completely identify with it. Hopefully I’ll be able to participate. . . I homeschool and I have 5 children–2 of whom are 16 months and almost 5 weeks. Yeah, my homeschool situation is not perfect!

Glad to read I’m not the only one who doesn’t wake her children! It must be those residual feelings from when my oldest attended public school and we were forced to wake her and feed her before 0630! I l-o-v-e the slow, and yes sometimes later mornings!

I let my daughter sleep in, as well. One of the many reasons we homschool is to allow her to get her much needed rest. We try to start our day around 10 a.m. as much as possible, but that’s even flexible.
I’m totally feelin’ ya when it comes to clearing off the table so somebody can sit down to talk or eat. 🙂
