Sweet friend, I just want to encourage you that if you’re in a tough season or a trial, do not let that be a reason or excuse to neglect God’s Word. These times are the very times that His Word will speak truth, comfort, give life, bring light to dark places, and truly sustain you. It’s not about “I’m behind” or “I can’t keep up” with a reading plan. It’s about Jesus, the Bread of Life, satisfying & comforting you like nothing else can.
And in your next tough season or crisis, you will be so glad you did. I can’t tell you how many times over the last two weeks a verse I memorized or a passage I’ve studied in the past has been brought to mind. That is the Lord. That is the Holy Spirit bringing truth to my mind.
What you are reading & meditating on now will transform your life for years to come.
Truly the seeds of His Word planted day in and day out will bear fruit in ways you could never have imagined. His Word never returns void and He always meets us in these pages.
