We have been learning about the 13 colonies in our American History for the past few weeks. We have had a lot of fun learning about a typical school day in the colonies, how they lived, what jobs they did, what their homes were like and how they cooked! I have been asking God to show me specifically how to pray for my children and their specific personalities and needs. In October I finished up a 31 day series on praying for our children. But, it doesn't end there, ya know? There are always new challenges, new stages, new prayers to be prayed. Our sermon series in November at church has been on having a Thankful heart. Having a thankful heart leads to other things...like giving, serving, worship. When our hearts are truly thankful, we cannot help but worship the Giver.
