This week I am writing a letter to my childhood self…as I reflect on these words, I am praying that I would be brave and strong enough to share these same words with my own children and my sponsored children in our letters to them. I think we will memorize Romans 8:28 very soon in our home!
Dear Little Me,
As you grow up you will often question why life had to be the way it was. You will feel that some of your life events served to harm you instead of prosper you. You will wonder why you felt certain things and why you didn’t feel or experience other things.
If only you could see then what I see now…
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
Someday you will know and believe that God really does use all things for your good and for His purpose. Someday you will trust Him so completely that you don’t question anymore. Someday you will come to understand His grace more fully and in such a way that you know all truly is grace.
Someday you will begin to share with others how God uses the brokenness in our lives to show His own strength and power.
Someday you will see that God glories in our weakness because His strength is shown. {tweet this}
But there will be times in those somedays that you doubt. You will still have questions. You will still wonder why. But, in all the questions and doubts, God is continuing to work things for His good and for His purposes. Someday you will understand more clearly how all the questions grow your faith. Someday you will pray so earnestly that God would grow your trust and faith in Him that the doubts and questions actually begin to make sense…even though you don’t have all the answers.
All the while God is at work. Know that. Trust Him. Believe His promises.

I can go to CNN for this crap, why would I want to watch this low quality video on your site? I came to your site to get away from this crap and now you're TUBE FEEDING it to us- as if we're drooling for this crap on a neurology ward.
