Since it has been raining all week this is the first opportunity we’ve had to be outside at all! So, we went on a nature walk! We found lots of pretty wildflowers, but also found a few other things too! I have tried to look for the names of these wildflowers to identify them, but it is still hard for me to always tell what it is! So, if you see one that isn’t labeled correctly OR you see one with no name at all and you know what they are, please fill me in! UPDATE: thank you to my new friend, Kris, for helping me out with the wildflower identification!

We saw this nest. Does anyone know who it might belong to? UPDATE: thanks to Rachel, we now know that these nests belong to Mud Daubers!
And we saw a branch that had fallen with a bunch of these on them! Anyone know what type of nut this is? UPDATE: some type of hickory nut!
