We finished putting together our bat lapbook over the weekend. This lapbook went with our unit on Stellaluna and Bats. The unit came from HSS, where else?!
I wanted to mention that lapbooks don’t have to be complicated. Ours certainly are not. It also doesn’t have to be a bunch of mini-books that you cut out. We didn’t do alot of “tradional” lapbook stuff with this one, but it still turned out cute and is a great way for the girls to have a visual of their week learning about bats. If you notice, I add in things like color by numbers, coloring pages, worksheets, and even crafts to our lapbooks. Sometimes I have to trim them down, but that way all our work on one subject is together. The girls really are proud of their work!
