Saint Nicholas Day is on December 6th. However, we aren’t going to be home on Friday or Saturday, so we are celebrating St. Nick a few days early! I thought I would share a few books and links with you!
Books about St. Nicholas
Links & Activities
*The Saint Nicholas Center is my favorite resource by far! Be sure and check back this year if you used this site last year…as they have added new crafts and printable pages for kids! Word searches, crossword puzzles, coloring pages and crafts! Also there are conversations “starters” with facts listed for you to share with your child about who Saint Nicholas was!
*Another resource that I love for Chrismas is the O Night Divine blog. They also have some Saint Nicholas resources and ideas listed.
*Something I would like to focus on this year with my kids while we discuss Saint Nicholas, is all the wonderful things he did for the poor and needy. We can discuss how we can be a servant to the hurting around us: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, etc.
*Here is a cute craft that we did last yearwhich I found on the Saint Nicholas Center.
