Welcome to the 2013 Tour of Homes! I love decorating for Christmas so very much, but you will notice I mostly stick to simple little additions to what is already in place. The little touches of Christmas & Scripture make me so happy. If you’re visiting from one of the link-ups, welcome! You can read more about my little place on the web here if you are interested.
While by the sheep we watched at night,
Glad tidings brought an angel bright!
How great our joy!
Great our joy!
Joy! Joy! Joy!
Praise we the Lord in heav’n on high!
Praise we the Lord in heav’n on high!
This gift of God we’ll cherish well,
That ever joy our hearts shall fill.
How great our joy!
Great our joy!
Joy! Joy! Joy!
Praise we the Lord in heaven on high!
Praise we the Lord on heav’n on high!
Merry Christmas, friends! Here are more Christmas links for your enjoyment and inspiration!
And if you’re new around here, I just want to let you know that I do love decorating my home, especially for Christmas!! But, these pictures aren’t the total picture. 🙂 I’m a homeschooling mom of 3 children in a smallish house. We live here. We are here lots of hours lots of days always. You should probably take a peek at my Real Life Homeschooling series where 20 homeschooling moms share the nitty gritty and sometimes not so pretty of homeschooling!

I love your simple chalkboard art. I have a chalkboard in my kitchen and it’s been blank since summer. My kids have been asking me to write something on it, but I’ve been uninspired and too busy to think of anything creative. Tomorrow morning, I’m copying you!
Love your book basket, too! We are up to our eyeballs in Christmas book right now and loving it.

We homeschool also! I wish I could do the chalkboard art stuff. I am just not talented with it. I really love how you wove Christ’s birth story into your tour, thank you for that!
