What steals our hope?
Bitterness, worry, looking back, guilt, past failures.
What if we learned how to practice hope by actively choosing to let go of the bitterness and guilt and worry?
It’s a battle. It’s hard. But our hope, joy, peace, and abundant life are all at stake here.
The choice is yours. You can live in the past. You can stay mad. You can let the bitterness grow. You can worry instead of trust. But at some point all of those things eat you alive and steal your joy.
I choose joy. I choose hope. That choosing takes intentionality and practice.
We can do it, friends. Who is with me?
“But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead…” Philippians 3:13
