Astronomy ~ The Moon!
Last week for our astronomy project we made models of the moon!! The kids glued beads, pasta, buttons and other assorted objects onto styrofoam plates. We let those dry while we read a story about the moon and then put foil over the top of the plates. The kids pressed down on the foil over all the buttons and beads to make mountains and craters and such! Then, we added a flag to our moon for the finishing touch! American History: Colonial Times
We have been learning about the 13 colonies in our American History for the past few weeks. We have had a lot of fun learning about a typical school day in the colonies, how they lived, what jobs they did, what their homes were like and how they cooked! my prayers this morning…
I have been asking God to show me specifically how to pray for my children and their specific personalities and needs. In October I finished up a 31 day series on praying for our children. But, it doesn't end there, ya know? There are always new challenges, new stages, new prayers to be prayed.
