The Warrior {book recommendation & sale price}

Happy New Year, friends!

I’m excited to share a book with you that I think will be an EXCELLENT read as we start a new year!

I recently downloaded a book for kindle when it was free…you know, I have to get it while it’s free. Even if I never read it. 🙂 I decided to take a chance on this one and started it a few weeks ago…and I’m so glad I read it!

The Warrior by Joyce Swann

** the kindle version of this book will be e$2.99 for the month of January!**

The Warrior was written by Joyce Swann and is not what I thought it would be. The warrior in this book is a prayer warrior.

If you need encouragement to pray for your children, this book is for you.

If you need encouragement to pray for people you don’t even know, this book is for you.

If you need encouragement to just pray in general, this book is for you.

Friends, this is a fiction book. I admit that I was a little leery of a fiction book about prayer…would it even be interesting? Would it really inspire me to pray?

Yes and yes. I finished this book in just a few days…because I could not stop reading. The book also reignited the fire in my heart for intercession. Prayer is so important to me…but this book encouraged me to branch out beyond my regular intercessions for friends, family, church and country…to listening to the still voice of The Lord and praying when I get those gentle nudges from Him.

I wanted to let you all know that the kindle version of this book will be $2.99 through the month of January!! I would highly recommend reading this. Your prayer life will thank you. 🙂 I think I’m going to be adding this book to my List of Books for Praying Moms.
