We are blessed to be meeting with 2 other homeschool families weekly this year to go through Exploring Creation Human Anatomy book for elementary kids! We have met a few times already and I can tell it’s going to be a great year!!
The first chapter in our book taught us all about cells and the different parts of the cell. I especially love the Anatomy Notebooking Journalthat you can get to go with the text, it is perfect for the girls!!
I know you were wanting a close up of that delicious cell!! The cell is made of jello with lots of different candies representing the parts of the cell.
We are going to learn a whole lot about the human body this year and all the neat things that God created us to do. The kids are having a great time, too!

Last year we used Fulbright’s Astronomy course and we all loved it. My ds is so proud of his notebook. I loved it too. It was the perfect combination of notebooking and lapbooking, I thought. The experiments were wonderful as well.
Looks like you all are having a great time. I think I’m going to buy the Anatomy book just for us to look through. My dc are always asking questions along those lines.

I LOVE these books! We’ve done all but Zoo 3 at this point. This year I’m going through Astronomy for the third time but this time we are using the brand-new journals. I can’t wait! I’m pretty sure I’m more excited than my boys about this. LOL

We made an edible jello cell a couple of weeks ago also! Talk about a sugar high for kids :).
