Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 The "night" may be a season, it may be our time here on earth. But we can be certain, walking by faith and not by sight, that joy will come. Sometimes that comes as moments of joy in the middle of grief. The call or text from a friend at just the right moment. Laughter. Your favorite song comes on the radio. A new plant. Your dog. But also it comes when we choose to fix our eyes on Jesus and ... Read More about Joy comes in the morning
Because He Lives
And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. Hope was born on resurrection day. Real hope. Hope that lasts. Hope that doesn’t disappoint. The word surrender has been on my mind and heart for some time now. For me, in a season of struggle, surrender looks like a deeper trust in HIS PLAN. Trusting that it’s good. That He is good. Surrender means I’m willing to let go of my expectations of what I thought things would look like. ... Read More about He Will Fulfill It
